If you have a Zoom meeting imported into your Canvas course's Zoom tab, the recordings from your classes will appear in the Cloud Recordings section of that same tab. However, they will not be immediately available to students, just in case you need to edit them first. To make them viewable by students, you will need to publish them.
Go to the Zoom tab in your Canvas course.
Click the Cloud Recordings tab. Next to the meeting recording, there is a toggle in the Publish column. Click that toggle to make the recording visible for your students.
Troubleshooting
The recording isn't there to publish
First, check to make sure that you have the recording in your Zoom.us Recordings page. If it is there, but hasn't shown up in the Cloud Recordings tab, submit a Solutions ticket. Make sure to include the link to the course and the date of the missing recording.
I need to edit out something in the recording
As the host of the meeting, you can edit out the beginning and end of a recording. In the Cloud Recordings tab, click the Topic of the specific recording that needs editing.
It will open a page with your recording, along with separate files. Click into the recording portion (It tends to have the most data).
In the recording, you should see the snipping tool in the bottom right of the video player. (NOTE: If you do not see that icon, that just means you need to sign into your PLI Zoom.us account. Open a different tab, sign into Zoom, then refresh the tab with the recording and it should appear for you).
Click the snipping tool. It will pop up a slider at the beginning and end of the recording. Move them around to remove parts of the recording, then click Save to keep those changes.
