Thankfully, you do not need to create a Zoom meeting to meet with your new students; We do that for you in PLI Connect. All you need to do is copy the meeting ID and import it into Canvas.
Read below for how to do that:
Log into PLI Connect.
Go to your Jobs tab, then Job Record. Next to the course you want, click View details.
You will see an eleven-digit number next to Zoom Meeting ID. Highlight and copy that number. (Note: You want to copy the number itself, not the link.)
Log into Canvas.
Go to the corresponding course's Zoom tab. Click the three dots in the top right, then Import meeting.
In the Import meeting window, paste the Zoom ID number, then click Import.
Your meeting should now be accessible to both you and your students in the Zoom tab of your course.
If you receive an error that the Zoom id couldn't be imported, please submit a helpdesk ticket.
