At Proximity Learning, students connect with their teachers in a virtual classroom. Depending on your district, there are a few different ways that you will be able to join your live class.
Canvas/Zoom
Click this link to view a step-by-step Iorad.
Unless you hear otherwise, this is probably the way you'll join classes. To do so, log into Canvas. You can also get to the log in page here.
Click the tile of the course to go to its home page.
Click the orange "Join Your Live Classroom" button. That will bring you to the course's Zoom tab.
You will see a page like this with a Join button. Click that to join your live class!
Google Meet
If your school uses Google Meet for your virtual classroom, they should send you some information about how to join your classes. They may provide a direct link to the meeting or Google Calendar invite, which you should be able to click to immediately join the meeting when it's being held. If they provide a meeting code, you can go to Google Meet in your browser or download the app, put in the meeting code, and click Join. Just make sure you're signed into your school account, or whatever account was added to the meeting. Otherwise, you may be blocked, or have to request access from your teacher.
Microsoft Teams
If your school uses Microsoft Teams for your virtual classroom, they'll send you some information about how to set up your account and join your classes. In general though, once you sign into your account, you should be able to find and click on the class in your calendar or on the General tab Posts.
